Wildlife Resources

If you believe to have found abandoned or injured wildlife, please read below to determine what next steps are needed:

  • If you are unsure if a young animal has been abandoned, please do not touch the animal and monitor from a distance to see if a parent returns. Often, young animals are left alone while their parents leave to find sources of food.

  • Resist the urge to provide any food, fluids, or formula unless directed to by a wildlife rehabilitator. This can often cause more harm if done incorrectly.

  • If the animal is determined to be injured or abandoned, keep the animal in a warm, dark, and quiet environment to reduce stress until it is brought to a facility where it can receive proper care.

Unfortunately, we are unable to take in and treat wildlife at this time. If you believe you have found injured or abandoned wildlife, feel free to give us a call so we can potentially connect you with a rehabber but we are unable to accept them at our facility at this time.
